Today was a bit of a weird day, the plan was to go upt o Tamadaba but the weather wasn’t very helpful with that, so we all split in different directions. Some guys went down south looking for better conditions, another group wen’t west in order to start bolting a new zone and trying some bouldering, but in our case, we were lazy and cabezotas and stayed in the Cenobial Pole, “Rote Punkt “temperature they like to call these conditions.

Anyway, it was fine since we did some housekeeping and also filmed a bit of Sinfonia Popular, an excellent 8b  that Ricardo from Tenerife wanted to give a go to. We will wait for him to red point it in order to publish the video.

El día comenzó algo raro, teníamos el plan de subir a Tamadaba pero el clima no ayudó mucho con eso así que nos dividimos en varios grupos, algunos se bajaron al sur, otro fueron mas al oeste a equipar una nueva zona y también a practicar algo de bloque, pero algunos cabezotas nos quedamos en el “Polo” Cenobial, en temperatura rote punkt como dicen por aquí.

Pero al final salió todo bien ya que hicimos algo de labores de limpieza y además filmamos un poco de Sinfonía Popular, el 8b que Ricardo de Tenerife quería intentar. Claro que esperaremos a que lo encadene para publicar el video.

We finally had the chance to shot Meneo Canario, the hardest route climbed on the island.

The day was perfect for climbing, unluckily not all of us were in good shape.

But the guys did what they could and loads of 7s and 8s were tried.

Por fin tuvimos la oportunidad de filmar el Meneo Canario.

El día era perfecto para escalar, aunque no todos estabamos de servicio.

Pero los muchachos hicieron lo que se pudo y hubo varios séptimos y algún otro octavo.

Weather was perfect in the north, but for some stupid reason we went down to the south where the weather was miserable, even worse, we decided to walk all the the way to the crag even when we knew it was going to be rainy.

In the end it was all good, nobody else, obviously, except for the Tenerife crew (actually they were the reason we went there) and the Via Lactia sector was protected from the sun so we spent all day there, climbing Via Lactea, filming on ti and also trying the projects.

As usual, we had a lot of fun.

By the way, we have finished the video for Via Lactea and it’s ready on the video widget or  check on the main site for it.

El clima era perfecto en el norte, pero por alguna razón bajamos al sur donde el clima era patético, aún peor, decidimos caminar hasta el sitio cuando bien sabiamos que llovería.

Al final todo salió bien, nadie mas, obviamente, excepto por los chicos de Tenerife (de hecho fué por ellos que decidimos ir) y el sector de la Vía Lactea quedo resguardado del sol así que nos pegamos ahí todo el día, escalando La Vía Lactea, filmandola e intentando algún proyecto.
